Maintenance Technician Assistant

Job Description

We are seeking a dependable and motivated Maintenance Technician Assistant to help support our clients facility upkeep and assist with general maintenance activities in a manufacturing environment. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, basic facility support, and assisting the maintenance team in ensuring equipment and workspaces remain safe and operational.

Location: Wilton, NH

Pay rate range: $17-$26/hour (based on experience)

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8::30AM-5:00PM

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment and facility systems
  • Replace or repair parts and make necessary adjustments
  • Complete preventative maintenance tasks, including changing air filters
  • Troubleshoot equipment issues and identify faulty operations or materials
  • Use hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment as needed
  • Assist with basic plumbing, carpentry, and general maintenance tasks
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders

Qualification

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Trade school, apprenticeship, or equivalent maintenance experience preferred
  • Ability to work independently and stay motivated
  • Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Comfortable using tools and working in a hands-on environment
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
